Indian Residents Have a Friend in QNET

QNET began in the Phillipines in the fall of 1998. Malaysian businessman Vijay Eswaran founded the company in Hong Kong. Their products include, personal care, health and wellness, education, technology and motor care. This global direct marketing company is the fasted growing company in the entire world. Not only is QNET interested in selling goods and services, it is also interested in helping with community charities. QNET is teamed up with the Lions Club.

The Lions Club was founded in 1917 by a 38-year-old Chicago based businessman named Melvin Jones. Some of their charities include hospices, message in a bottle, helping the disabled, and finding work for the blind.

QNET and the Lions Club have donated a kidney dialysis unit to the Shirdi Sai Hospital in Devasandra, Bangalore. This unit contains 100 hospital beds. The hospital administration plans to subsidize the fee for patients needing kidney dialysis.

QNET – WE CARE has helped victims of disaster. This includes Chennai Flood Relief program. In December 2015, Chennai, India had faced the worse flood in the past century. The death toll had risen to 280 causalities. In 24 hours, the townspeople had 7ft of water. By the time the rains had stopped on Friday, December 4, many people were homeless because of the flood. The floods have caused the factories and offices to temporarily close down, causing 50,000 people to lose their jobs. It was weeks before the water would subside and make it possible for survivors to be rescued. QNET – WE CARE is committed to making sure that people who have lost possessions in the floods are given the essentials to get through this tragedy.

These necessities include, food, clothing, bedding, pots, pans, mats, etc. Since the flood, QNET has actively urged their employees to give money and donate goods and services to help in the recovery. QNET donated 75 Lakhs that’s equal to about $156,249.75 USD.
QNET also donates to Taraana school for Malaysian children with learning disabilities. Vijayaratnam Foundation, established in 2006, is supportive of the school creating and individualizing learning plan for children with learning disabilities. The school helps 53 students with such disabilities as Downs Syndrome, developmentally delayed,
ADD, ADHD,speech impairment, and more. These students are between the ages of 3 to 15.
