Growing up, Lori Senecal had older siblings to inspire her to achieve the lofty goals she had for herself. She has realized those goals in the advertising industry. As the Global CEO of the advertising agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Senecal oversees an international effort to effectively market many brands.
One Of Lori Senecal’s first successes in the industry came early in her career. While working for McCann Erickson she came up with TAG Ideation which is a marketing unit at the company that focuses on young adults. She was central to establishing this unit which has gone on to great success. She was named a the Co-Managing Director of TAG-New York where she managed their marketing efforts for a number of years. Later on, Lori Senecal was named as McCann Erickson Worldwide’s Executive Vice President and Account Managing Director. Eventually, her success in these positions led to her joining Kirshenbaum Bond and Partners as one of the partners and the CEO. She also worked for MDC Partners Inc for a few years where she was the top executive of the firm.
Among the talents that Lori Senecal has shown during her career is a knack for devising integrated marketing campaigns. She has also evolved into a digital strategist as that segment of advertising has become increasingly important over the years. She is also very talented as a leader and knows how to encourage her staff to develop their innovation and imagination when coming up with the next marketing campaign.
Over the years, Lori Senecal has been a mentor to a number of people. This has included encouraging employees of hers to be entrepreneurs. Some of her former employees credit her for getting their startup off the ground and turning an idea into a reality. It was in 2014 that Senecal co-founded the Isaac Award organization. Serving as the jury chair lady, she worked to celebrate inventions and concepts that students had come up. This rewards program has 30 categories it accepts entries in and the winners are profiled in an issue of ADWEEK. She recently spoke at 3% conference.
